Hi everyone! I’m originally from Hudsonville, MI and obtained my bachelor’s degree in biology at Hope College. I then moved out to Lansing and attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and have stayed here ever since. I absolutely love the “family-feel” of this program, and the diverse patient population we serve here in Lansing. When I’m not working, I love spending time with family, my husband, Alan and our dog, Oso. You can pretty much always find me needlepointing some project and convincing my co-residents to run another race with me ;). I also love a good nap, a sweet treat, and cozy night in.
